Don’t forget to remember

I sometimes forget how many times I’ve had to pick myself up. The times I’ve washed away smudgy makeup and put myself to bed. The times I could confidently say no to something unhealthy mentally, physically and emotionally. The times when I had to make peace with my own anger and deal with things. Remembering the empowering feeling I get when I walk away in peace from things that no longer serve me good. So, here’s to remembering that I’m doing the best I can. That we’re doing the best we can. Don’t ever throw yourself off just because something seems like it’s not working out. You’re doing the best you can and you are doing an amazing job. And for your existence in where you are and where you’d like to be in life but still dealing with it anyway is enough. Don’t forget to remember that you as you are, are enough. You’ve got this!
