To stay present in the moment

I’ve learned that becoming less reactive is a big part of growth and decreasing stress. Sometimes this type of avoidance can be looked at as lack of interest or uncaring, but it isn’t. If you let everything get you worked up you’re damaging your mind, body and soul. Not everything deserves your energy. Pick wisely.

Shifting the focus from ‘what I’m lacking’ to ‘all that I have brings me so much peace’ is such a big step into being in a comfortable space with yourself. Everything I really need I already have (constantly remind yourself of that). Stay present in the moment so you don’t find yourself missing out on things that you really want to try or even do.
