Coffee Masking

Face puffiness has been my constant enemy (especially in the morning) and I’ve recently found the best solution to it! Here’s my current favourite homemade face mask/scrub. It’ll reduce puffiness, exfoliate your skin leaving it soft and glowing.

Coffee is a miraculous thing. Consume it (my favourite thing if you didn’t know) or apply it on your face, it works wonders both ways. It is perhaps the most loved and easily available at home natural ingredient which not only energizes you but can make your face luminous too.

Rich in anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, coffee as a drink as well as face mask can prevent signs of aging, keep acne at bay and can give you healthy skin. A circular massage with coffee helps in reduction of cellulite by stimulating blood flow beneath the skin. A coffee mask due to its caffeine element can make your skin look fresh and supple like never before.

Removes the dead cells and impurities from within and nourishing the skin pores with essential nutrients, this face mask will bring back your youthful radiance.

Improves blood circulation and brightens the skin.

It also removes excess oil from your skin.

Reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, while antioxidants prevent and fight off free radicals and oxidative stress damage. In addition, antioxidants improve the elasticity of our skin.

Simulates blood flow and prevents premature aging. It helps in cellulite reduction also.

Application of coffee mask around your eyes can not only reduce the appearance of dark circles but it also reduces the puffiness by shrinking blood vessels. It also soothes inflamed skin.

Both Coffee and Honey work wonders for your skin. Individually they have such great benefits so imagine combined. Trust me, this mask is REALLY good!

Mix coffee and honey together in a boil with a hint of olive oil to add moisture. Apply the mask on cleansed skin (I usually opt for cold water to open up my pores). Gently massage the mask for 2-3 minutes and leave on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water and thank me later.
