Valentine’s day is just around the corner and all I could think about was the perfect makeup look that is subtle yet chic and pretty. I haven’t been completely invested in makeup ever since I started dedicating and investing in my skin so, I haven’t really gotten much time to even play around with makeup looks as much as before. But I’m not complaining I am so in love with my skin and so proud that I get to confidently walk around makeup free. I put together a makeup look that is not different to what I already do when I wear makeup just with a twist of glam and colour, of course.

I recently got this Essence Ultra Last lipstick in a beautiful red tone and it’s such a dream. It made me reminisce on how I used to often wear red lipstick and even the dark purple tones back in college when I used to have the Halle Berry inspired hairstyle, yes the pixie cut. I think for anything love you think red so why not play around with a red lippie this Valentine’s day or even a dark purple and even my favourite go-to browns. And as much as I wanted to have a brown lip instead I am really enjoying this red lip. It’s such a great twist for switching up your makeup look and if can lighten up your outfit.
