I recently perused through social media and fashion sites and I uncovered a styling trend that most fashion lovers have been relying on heavily (and in all honesty I’ve been seeing this particular look take over my timeline for a while now). So, it’s not necessarily new but the style does seem to be setting an embrace on most A/W (and even S/S looks). I personally think it’s such an easy, yet chic, fun and simple styling trick that can without a doubt elevate an outfit.
Think effortless and chic. Tying a sweater over your shoulders is a simple way to bring a directional spin to any silhouette. What I personally love is that it is a practical look. It adds extra warmth is needed over the shoulder (uh, a temporal bye to the scarf) and if it does get a little breezy than usual you can automatically throw it on. Overall, it’s a sophisticated silhouette that makes an outfit feel so elevated and incredibly modern.
