The Weekender Series – Waterfall Views, Nature & Movie Lounging

In addition to blog more I’ve introduced a new series titled ‘The Weekender’. I’ll include visuals of what I wore, views, location and food. I’ll compile images from both the weekday and weekend. It’s a vlog but written, titled, the weekender.

Join me as I share the last remaining days of March and celebrate Easter, try out my first hyaluronic acid product and give a Portuguese restaurant a shot and watch a few movies.

March 31,

Happy midweek and happy last day of March. A very chilled out Wednesday which included food and movies. I got to finally watch Justice League (uh hello aqua man) and Avengers. It’s always fun catching up on such classics it constantly reminds me of my teenage life and how I had tees with some of the heroes on it or even the Marvel logos. I also finally got to watch Godzilla vs Kong which was pretty good so I highly recommend. The night ended with some chicken pizzas and Chinese takeout.

Happy New Day! Happy New Month! So excited to see what the new month holds and being hopeful that it comes with all the positive energies and vibrations needed. I had a busy morning and slowly settled into a calm day doing some work. But first, cappuccino please. Talk about those tired out mirror selfies. We tried out a Portuguese restaurant that we’ve been wanting to try out and had that for supper.

Happy Friday and Happy Good Friday! Woke up to the weather so pretty, calm and a dream. I appreciate clear skies they’re always so refreshing and usually I take it as ‘today will be a good day’. We headed out to a Botanical garden that we’ve never been to before called Walter Sisulu and it’s pretty. Nature is always so refreshing and the greenery is the best of course. We headed out to the cinema and watched ‘Nobody’ which is from the same directed who did John Wick and it was very good. I really enjoyed it and definitely give it a thumbs up. Our night out ended with supper at a familiar spot Piza Viño.

April 3,

There’s something so calming and relaxing about this weekend. I woke up and sat outside to just take in the cool morning breeze and watch the clear skies. I had a rather chilled out Saturday, did my nails and recorded my next episode for my podcast.

April 4,

Happy Easter! I’m so used to celebrating easter the way I’ve always done it. So, go to church and have lunch after with family but times have changed. I streamed church, showered and had lunch. The weather was so gloomy so it kinda sucked but nonetheless it is Sunday after all so why not just chill out and appreciate the moment.

Sabbath day message,

This lesson is so important. It’s so easy to doubt yourself especially once you have flaws that keep fighting at you but listen, you’ve got a good life to live and look forward to. Don’t give up on the person you’re meant to be. Stay authentic and true to who you are and don’t ever give up on that.

No Monday blues over here! I had my calendar all prept for this week so Monday meant getting content done, podcast recording and finishing up other commitments. I had a very calm done even though I did so much. I also recently got the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel which I am so excited to continue using because so far, so good.
