May 13

Getting all cold season ready and decided to head out and get some products I currently need. I got myself the Bio-Oil skincare oil because I find that adding tissue oil to my skincare regime helps keep it moisturized and won’t be dry and affected by the cold air. I obviously replaced my Avène cleansing gel because it’s been working really well with my skin. I got a jersey with a front zipper from Oakridge which I’m so in love with I’ll definitely be going back for the black. I got it to wear around the house during the day and just update my loungewear, plus it’s a beautiful piece and I’ll definitely be wearing it out of the house. I also wanted to show you guys this water I got from Cotton On, just because. Well, I just like the message on it.

I also undid my hair to give it some ‘air before diving into my usual wash routine. And I changed up my nails, initially I wanted to try out the clear nail look but I am still on the hunt for the right nail polish colour. For now though I added another coat so it’s just a plain, pinkish under toned colour.

May 14

Happy Friday! I had an early start to my week ending and had things to do. When working on projects I tend to be on top of it so my first start to my day is making sure I take my daily supplements before I head out. I did some errands, got some knitwear from H&M and J tried on some coats from Woolworths. We ended the day with dinner at one of our go-to place Turn ń Tender and had our favourite cheeseburger because wow! The cheese sauce is so gooood.

May 15

My Saturday started off busy and eventually got very chilled. I had some errands to run as per usual and finally got an added piercing to my ears which I’ve been wanting for the longest time. I got home and wanted to try on my new satin midi that I got and took some snaps in it. For supper I made homemade pops which was pretty easy yet fun and I ended the night chilling out and watching YouTube videos.

May 16

My favourite day! J and I planned to go to the movies so to kill time we had some ice-cream from Milky Lane because it’s been a while. We watched Wrath of Man and trust any Jason Statham movie to be good. Highly recommend you guys to check it out we were also spending most of our time after the movie trying to figure out where to eat and boy, oh boy it was a challenge. We’ve never driven around this much trying to find a spot to eat for some reason restaurants were closing up early earlier than usual so we just decided to have McDonald’s. Also, how beautiful is that sunset snap? Trust me to always look up to the sky to capture these moments.

Something I constantly need to remind myself about. Working on reminding ourselves that it does not always need to be based on the amount of productivity but experiencing the moment. Rest is so important and as much as we do want to get things done
