Clothing investment is all I’ve been doing this season and that’s “smart shopping” in mind so I purchase pieces that will carry me for a lifetime. This week I was finally in the right mind to get a bag I’ve been hunting for the longest time. Right mind you say? I couldn’t decide to be honest. I kept going back and forth deciding whether it was worth the buy. It’s not the biggest investment I’ve made BUT it is money spent and I always try do so, so that I am investing in the right items for the right reasons. I’ve definitely been leaning towards the soft leathers and neutrals this A/W. While I still love my other investments there’s something chic and elegant about this one. Simple yet effortless. And besides giving me Bottega Veneta ‘shoulder pouch’ vibes, I am loving the soft leather approach. I look forward to pairing it with monochromatic looks and styling it with my chunky leather boots and oversized knits. Although the thought process does not end there, I plan on styling these with edgy dresses and trendy tops. A play on silhouette as per usual in the S/S and I am ready. The new mixing of all seasons seems fresh and a lot more fashion conscious. We’re all perhaps moving into a new seasonless way of thinking and I’m here for it!
