Picnic in the Winter Style

Picnics aren’t just for summer, they’re a brilliant way to keep the whole family warm on chilly winter days too. Okay, I found that intro while Googling “can you picnic during the winter”. I took it as a yes and decided to go for exactly that. In South Africa June 16 is youth day meaning it’s to commemorate the Soweto Uprising of 1976, when students protested against the apartheid system that limited black children’s education. So, if you’re keen to know more you can research it. With the pandemic there isn’t really much to do and our government has also just recently put strict rules in place because of the growing statistics. Okay okay, I didn’t mean for this post to come off sad BUT on a lighter note I wanted to share what I wore on our picnic outing and share some shopping recommendations in case you do decided to go on a picnic during the cooler season.
