In addition to blog more I’ve introduced a new series titled ‘The Weekender’. I’ll include visuals of what I wore, views, location and food. I’ll compile images from both the weekday and weekend. It’s a vlog but written, titled, the weekender.
Join me as I share what we got up to in the early days of July including running errands, catching pretty sky views, random mirror selfies and satisfying our food cravings. Paul’s Homemade Ice-Cream, McDonalds, Starbucks and a hair wash day using Vatika products.

Happy end of the week. J and I started our day off grabbing drinks from Starbucks and of course I had to get the caramel Frappuccino which happens to be my current favourite drink and I’ll most probably be carrying it out till the warmer season. We also got some chicken nuggets from McDonalds which we’ve both been craving for the longest time (it was too good)I think because we haven’t had it in a while. We later window shopped and finished our day off at Piza Vino in Rosebank. I had a biltong pizza with capers which it was my first time having it and I must say it has a very distinctive sour/salty flavour to it (it’s not for everyone).

A very calm Saturday I had. I started my day off going for a drive and headed back home to get my hair washed and refreshed. I used the Vatika products which I am obsessed with and currently loving for my hair. This brand is amazing for type 4 natural hair and you should give it a try. And as per usual I finished the look with my go-to Benny and Betty. The rest of the day I spent exercising (yes, I’ve been doing that), eating, reading, listening to music and just chilling out. I believe days like these are so important for both your physical and spiritual self. So, TAKE TIME OUT!

July 4
The running errands day. We started off by getting drinks from Starbucks of course. I think this has become our thing just getting a beverage for the road so that we try stay hydrated whilst heading to these places where we need to. We got some home renovation goodies, and boy we drove far. And yes, we got McDonalds for the road. The child in me will always want that as my first option. This was definitely the day I got a lot of mirror images just to give you the idea of all the different spaces we’ve been at. We also got some shopping done since most stores are currently having sales (be on the lookout for fashion and style content to see what I got).
