The Weekender Series – New Series, Hike Trails & Frappuccino Obsessing

In addition to blog more I’ve introduced a new series titled ‘The Weekender’. I’ll include visuals of what I wore, views, location and food. I’ll compile images from both the weekday and weekend. It’s a vlog but written, titled, the weekender.

Join me as I go hiking in the winter and share that experience, enjoy some views, catch up on my current series, take endless photos of my outfit of the day, enjoy a frappuccino as per usual and just take in all the goodness.

Happy Friday or should I say TGIF? It was an early start to the day because I had planned to go hiking. Catching the sunrise and morning breeze was so refreshing. After 4 hours of hiking and an estimation of 11.4km I decided to indulge in some protein with a scrambled egg, rye bread and tuna sandwich since I wanted something light after the long walk. A coffee of course, a good shower and allowing my skin to breath by exfoliating and applying a sheet mask while I catch up on a series I recently watched on Netflix titled Black Summer. The series follows a crack team of special forces as it fights for hope in the darkest hours of the zombie apocalypse. If you’re not up for the thriller zombie vibe, don’t watch.

Such a calm, easy-going Saturday. J and I started off our day with grabbing some drinks of course and continuing the day with whatever needed to get done. I am so obsessed with my recent faux leather blazer [ Read Here: Faux Leather Blazer Investment ] that I probably took so many photos and currently feel so stuck and undecided on which ones to save and to bin. We took the car in for a wash at our favourite car wash in the Emmarentia area and had got some things from Sandton City. Literally, a calm, easy-going day as I’ve already mentioned.

Happy Sunday. Okay, let’s talk about trying your hardest to be in a mentality stable space in your life. I think I am currently fighting that battle. Not feeling okay and making sure that I allow myself to feel that way but still somehow going through life and hoping the positivity I have deep within myself can just come through and flourish. Can you relate? Allow yourself to go through these down and out days. My focus for this Sunday was listening to uplifting podcasts that inspire me [ Read Here: Black Hosted Podcasts to Listen to Today ], meditating and taking time out.

Happy Sabbath Day,

No matter how big or small your confidence may be, allow your hope to be in the forefront of it all. All the stresses and troubles you may be facing won’t be around forever. But guess what? your hope will be.

See you in my next series. Take care and stay blessed.
