The Leather Blazer Winter Edit

A huge welcome to the staple piece that has a true comeback inspired by style icons from the 90s. Yes, you guessed it I am styling the faux leather blazer that I have been eyeing for the longest time and was so happy to wear it out and about that I shared my excitement about it on a post I put together and also included some pieces similar to the look I wore on my [ Read Here: Faux Leather Blazer Investment ]. Still in love and definitely have more looks to put together I wanted to share 3 of my current go-to looks when wearing my leather blazer. These are all minimal, fun and a great play on textures and tones. If you’re looking for easy, no brainer ways to wear one this edit is for you.

Look 1

A current favourite look is throwing on my leather blazer with my already done looks. I love a classic, timeless basic tee and denim bottom look that gets elevated by trendy pieces. I wore this look on my day out [ Read Here: The Weekender Series – New Series, Hike Trails & Frappuccino Obsessing ] and had so much fun with it that I covered an edit with shopping recommendations [ Read Here: Faux Leather Blazer Investment ]. It’s a look you can never go wrong with. An added touch of colour with this gorgeous mini shoulder bag and my look is complete.

Look 2

What I love about this look is the play on textures. A faux leather blazer paired with leather boots, a pleated silk skirt, cotton tee and knit cardigan. A ton of textures but it works. The detailing of the bag instantly elevates the look. If you’re not up for a pleated skirt you can always substitute using either pants, a classic satin midi or even denim bottoms.

Look 3

My ‘not-so-boring’ casual look. A simple pair of trainers, black jeans and at this point pairing the look with any top. I put my look together using my black turtleneck which I’ve had for the longest time. A black monochromatic look is easy, simple and a none brainer look. It’s a bare minimum outfit that looks like you’ve put in a lot of effort. To make the look fun I added my sling bag to still keep to the casual theme and added sunnies for that extra feel.

Which look is your favourite?
