In celebration of both women’s month and National Women’s Day, I wanted to publish an inspired beauty look by all my MUSE features I’ve had on the site. If you not sure and haven’t seen it as yet, the M U S E series presents individuals with compelling personalities in a new light. In this virtual interview series we get up close with their skincare journey featuring authentic shots through their own lens.
I remember overthinking having features on the blog and what would the approach be. If I am sending through a message to anyone I wanted on the feature how would they receive the approach, you know. From my very first feature to date I have been so lucky to have had such inspiring guests from bloggers (like myself) to even having an advocate feature. If there’s one thing I’ve always wanted for my brand is to work with both men and women from all walks of life. Having female takeovers on the blog has really given me an idea of how great my brand will still be by just how excited and always up for it these individuals are. I still look forward to work with more people and grow on projects where I get to learn from others.
For my celebratory look I went for a very subtle blue on my eyelids (surprise surprise I got some colour on my face). I wanted to use blue because it is such a grounded, calm yet cool tone. I mean my features have been exactly that. Different personalities and is the color of purity and those who enjoy it, carry with them a sense of calmness, peace, serenity, and beauty. I used this gorgeous palette from the Scarlett Hill range under Mr Price which is so inexpensive and they have such pretty palettes that you can choose from. I went with this one which is obviously out of my comfort zone and wanted to play around with it. I huge shout out to all my MUSE features and make sure to check them out by searching “MUSE” under the search engine and check out all my features.
Thank you for all the support regarding these guest takeovers. Be on the lookout for more.
