This year the makeup trends have been focusing on the non-boring looks and achieving standout looks. As a beauty blogger it’s so refreshing to see that skin is in and lightweight coverage is at the forefront of this season’s trends. Achieving the right coverage and hunting your close to skin foundation has been a must this year and I’m here for it. The best part? people have been seeing the importance of taking care of their skin in addition to achieving and complimenting natural looking makeup looks because applying less foundation is “popping”.
2021 makeup trends are a return to glamour with subtle to bold lips, breathable skin, and a big emphasis on the trendy soap brows. Some eye trends include Multicolour eyes, Glitter accents, Expressive eyes (graphic liners, winged-liner look) while others, like Nostalgic makeup and the Matte 70s are having a huge takeover on social media. Everything in makeup is going to be bigger, brighter, and much more joyful. Regardless of whether you’re looking to update your makeup routine or fine tune a celebrity-approved look, there is a trend waiting for you.
