In addition to blog more I’ve introduced a new series titled ‘The Weekender’. I’ll include visuals of what I wore, views, location and food. I’ve introduced a new series titled ‘The Weekender’. I’ll compile images from both the weekday and weekend. It’s a vlog but written, titled, the weekender.
Join me as I share a birthday celebration, try out some cocktails and watch the new James Bond movie (which is a 10/10). I also revisit the Sex Education series, catch some sky views as per usual and have some sweet treats.

A very calm Saturday and what better way than to go out and celebrate a birthday. I’ve probably never shared images of my younger sister on the site or maybe I have but yes ‘my ma se kind’ as I always say. J and I planned a day out to celebrate with her and went to Monte Casino and our first stop was a move titled Free Guy which is a movie starring Ryan Reynolds about a bank teller who discovers he’s actually a background player in an open-world video game and decides to become the hero of his own story. Not our cup of tea but it was suitable for everyone who went with. We grabbed some lunch at The Hussar Grill and everyone ordered something with meat ranging from burgers to meat dishes with veggies on the side. We later dropped everyone off and headed to Starbucks and grabbed some McDonald’s.

A chilled shopping day and a visit to a camera market inside the Rosebank Mall. J and I spent the entire day checking out some stuff and ended the afternoon with a walk inside the Botanical Gardens. We decided to have supper at Gaucho who happens to make another appearance on the series (because the food and service is that good). I tried out two cocktails starting with a pink drink which had coconut and berries and also had a pineapple with vodka and other goodies. We ended the night with dessert which was just as good as the food. I highly recommended you check them out.

Happy Sabbath! I literally had such a lazy Sunday not doing anything but take it easy. I was also so excited to catch up on Sex Education which I haven’t followed up on since the first season ended in January 2019. The series is about Socially awkward high school student Otis may not have much experience in the lovemaking department, but he gets good guidance on the topic in his personal sex ed course — living with mom Jean, who is a sex therapist. Being surrounded by manuals, videos and tediously open conversations about sex, Otis has become a reluctant expert on the subject. When his classmates learn about his home life, Otis decides to use his insider knowledge to improve his status at school, so he teams with whip-smart bad girl Maeve to set up an underground sex therapy clinic to deal with their classmates’ problems. But through his analysis of teenage sexuality, Otis realizes that he may need some therapy of his own. If you’ve never seen the series yet check it out on Netflix.

No Monday blues here! An off day for J meant some errands for us to do and it was a fun twist to our Monday. I first went to Vidae Cafe and grabbed a lemonade and mint frios. We were late for our appointment but we were lucky enough to have such understanding people and proceeded the meeting. We grabbed some McDonald’s and continued our day with everything else we needed to get through. We had supper at the Doppio Zero restaurant in Greenside and our food was so good!

Happy Tuesday! I was so happy and grateful to have received shoes that I’ve been raving over from Public Desire that J got for me from the Superbalist website. I do own these in white from Cotton On and these were highly recommended. I was also so excited when he gave me a book by Yvonne Orji that my soul has been yearning for. I’m so blessed. We later went to the cinema and watched the new James Bond movie ‘No Time To Die’. If you haven’t watched it yet, what are you waiting for? It’s a MUST watch!
