In addition to blog more I’ve introduced a new series titled ‘The Weekender’. I’ll include visuals of what I wore, views, location and food. I’ve introduced a new series titled ‘The Weekender’. I’ll compile images from both the weekday and weekend. It’s a vlog but written, titled, the weekender.
Join me as I watch the premier of the well acclaimed ‘House Of Gucci’, get gifted Asics sneakers which I’ve been wanting forever, have my best friend come over, work on content and show off my new hair.
November 26
A very calm Friday with my going out to run some errands. I also came back home and watched the movie ‘Pieces Of A Woman’ which is about a heartbreaking home birth leaves a woman grappling with the profound emotional fallout, isolated from her partner and family by a chasm of grief. Such an emotional movie. I enjoyed it. I also purchased some goodies that were empties for the longest time in my skincare collection which was both the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Creme and the Palmer’s Skin Therapy Oil. I’ve spoken about these products before on the blog. They’re such great products and work effectively on my skin. Also, I got myself a new wig which is a hairstyle I’ve done before which I’ve been wanting to go back to.

November 27
J surprised me with yet another chunky flip flop Ginza inspired shoe and I am obsessed. The most exciting was the Asics I got. AH! I have no words. I am so excited to just put looks together featuring these beauts. We went out and did some things including getting C-breeze smoothies from Kauai, got some skincare products for J at Goodleaf, went to our favourite chill-out spot at the dam and watching the ‘House Of Gucci’. Firstly, before I tell you what it’s all about I highly recommend that you watch it. Today! Okay, the movie is centered around the Gucci family and the crimes that happened during the rise of the brand. When Patrizia Reggiani (played by Lady Gaga who did an amazing job) an outsider from humble beginnings, marries into the Gucci family, her unbridled ambition begins to unravel the family legacy and triggers a reckless spiral of betrayal, decadence, revenge and ultimately murder.

December 8
I got my second vaccine shot and spent the rest of the day doing work. I didn’t do much but editing and work on that day. I also wore my Asics for the first time.

December 10
I woke up and did my hair immediately since I had content to do. I also used a new shampoo since the Vatika one I use is just a co-wash.

December 11
I was up at around 7 because I couldn’t sleep so I just decided to clean up the place and prep it for my guest who happened to be my best friend. We’ve been friends since the 9th grade and since finishing high school we never get the time to see each other so it was so exciting and refreshing to have her come over and spend some time together. We got some good food like sushi and a burritos, wine, good music, watched movies, we had a good chat and ended our day watching Vogue Beauty Secrets. It was great!

December 12
I woke up with the same intention to do some content (not much though). I made breakfast (cream cheese on rolls, chicken rashers and avocado with a side of orange juice). After doing whatever I needed I prepared lunch which was chicken wings, baby potatoes which I just tossed in the over and pumpkin, sweet potatoes and butternut which I roasted. We also went out to get some dessert and watched the movie ‘The Harder They Fall’ which is a Western inspired film produced by Shawn Carter (Jay-Z) about an outlaw who discovers his enemy is being released from prison, he reunites his gang to seek revenge.

See you on my next series.
