The Weekender Series – New Bag, Slow Sundays & PR Products

In addition to blog more I’ve introduced a new series titled ‘The Weekender’. I’ll include visuals of what I wore, views, location and food. I’ve introduced a new series titled ‘The Weekender’. I’ll compile images from both the weekday and weekend. It’s a vlog but written, titled, the weekender.

Join me as I share some recent (not so recent) activities including receiving PR packages, get gifted my dream bag, share outfits through elevator selfies, nurse a cold, try a new mask, try Cinnabon for the first time and captures those smaller in-between moments like sunsets and slow Sundays.

27 March

Just a calm Sunday starting off with unboxing some products I got from local brands in Cape Town. I got such good products and I’ve been using them for a while now and of course I’m packaged obsessed. You can head over to my Instagram and Facebook to see the content around these products. J and I got some skincare products a few weeks ago from Glow Therapy and they have the best Korean skincare brands and products. I picked up the Isntree Mugwort Clay Mask and to date my skin still feels so smooth. We went back to pick up some products and tried out a cafe close by. Anywhere I can have a green smoothie at and I’m down for it. J also surprised me with my dream bag (well, second since my “Bottega Veneta” inspired one from Mango is still first place). I am so excited to add buttery tones to my Autumn/Winter looks this year and this fits in well with the looks I have planned out. I also had Cinnabon for the first time and I now understand the hype around it. We took the car in for a car wash and for lunch we went to our go-to spot Turn n’ Tender and called it a day.

29 March

And I can just tell that my upcoming series will include some views snaps from the office. This is where I’ve been having lunch time and it’s so refreshing. I’ve been nursing a really bad headache and cold so I headed to Kauai to have a Floo Fighter tea which has the natural, good stuff – ginger, lemon, honey, mint tea and cayenne pepper. It was a great booster and I instantly felt a difference. For lunch we went to a new spot we’ve never been to before Opera. The food is good and the price too! It’s worth trying out. For supper we went to Doppio Zero and as I am still not feeling good I had a lemon and ginger booster.

30 March

I started off my day with my pasta from the previous night and it was so good. Since I got sent capsules from The Olio Store and Klean, I don’t miss my daily dose. I’m taking the Ultimate Hair which is good for hair, skin and nails. With Klean I’m taking both the Revive and Nourish capsules for weight control and gut health. I was off to a day filled with face to face meetings and presentations, and ended my work day with back and forth emailing. We also had lunch at Spur and shot some content. For supper we went to Ocean Basket.

5 April

Today was more a presentation, meeting kind of day. Clients were or are happy and I’m the happiest girl in town. J and I went to Tasha’s for lunch and the food was so good. After work we grabbed some ice-cream at Paul’s.

7 April

My morning started off so busy but I got through it. Whenever I find myself working I tend to not eat (which is not good) but I’m working on it. For my late lunch I grabbed Mcdeez which was a small burger and fries. After work we went to try out a place called Pantry and yes, the best margherita pizza I’ve had. The place deserves all the hype around it.

See you on my next series!
