In addition to blog more I’ve introduced a new series titled ‘The Weekender’. I’ll include visuals of what I wore, views, location and food. I’ve introduced a new series titled ‘The Weekender’. I’ll compile images from both the weekday and weekend. It’s a vlog but written, titled, the weekender.
Join me as I share a full on series of so many things I got up to recently. My recent adventures include work trips, photoshoots, a compilation of random elevator selfies, what I’m currently reading and all things skincare.
A content creation day I had planned with J for some personal projects. It was such a beautiful, sunny day and perfect for what I wanted the images to look like.
At my busiest and all I need currently is as much rest I can try get and invest into my skincare regime. Whenever I get the time or day off I commit to giving myself a full on self-care day. I tried out a sheet mask from Glow Therapy which is a Korean store and I can’t wait to go back and get more! I enjoyed it so much and it gave my skin such a calm, hydrating feeling. My OG skincare products from W-Beauty, my recent favourites from a Cape Town brand, The Olio Store and a great face oil. I proceeded the rest of my day finishing off the Serene Williams book and rested. Yes, rest is productive.
I started my day off with a yummy Cappuccino and headed off to the North West for a short work trip. It was so refreshing going out of the office for a bit and seeing some great views.
Ended the work week on a high note. Had a meeting at the WeWork offices which is such a fun space and headed to Waterfall for work purposes. Enjoying these small bits of life and it’s always fun working out of the office because I find it boots my creativity.
Sabbath Sunday but this time not resting much. I had the opportunity to work with my favourite female photographer on a second project (we’ve shot a fun project that you can check out on my Instagram and Facebook). It was an interesting one. Scouting locations and changing in an open-field was different but fun. J and I had such a good lunch at Gaucho who is no stranger on here.
Just a random work day and spending most days busy with projects.
Another day in the office starting off with ginger tea and opening a fun package from a brand I’m collaborating with. KikoVitals is a brand from Cape Town and they sent through some supplements I started taking and will definitely give a review pretty soon. Also, I started reading ‘The Meaning of Mariah Carey’.
Kick-starting my day with the capsules and getting ready for another work trip to Waterfall. Such a beautiful space we went to.
A calm, shopping day with some random mirror selfies of course. We grabbed lunch Doppio Zero and later watched ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ which we didn’t quite enjoy. If you’ve watched the film, let me know what your rating is.
Had some fat cakes for breakfast and it was so good. It’s been a minute since I had it. J and I had such a yummy supper at Opera.
A busy day filled with work and projects but we never miss a snack break.
Officially obsessed with the Cappuccino sachets from Nescafe Gold. My favourite is definitely the hazelnut flavour.
See you on my next series!
