Yes, I was that excited to go out and about rocking my new bag from Mango which I am still so excited to style for the upcoming season. You guys know our first stop is usually a refreshment for the road and I got a vitamin-c smoothie from Kauai which is good! It’s such a simple fruit blend drink with all the vitamin-c goodies (although, I do wish it had ginger). We went to the cinema and watched Black Widow. Florence Pugh nailed her accent on there and of course we love some Scarlett Johansson. For supper we went to Malt, Barrel & Fire which is a place we usually go to if we’re around and J wanted to watch a football game. I had a pizza from there like I always do which had guacamole, chilli salsa, jalapenos, chicken and chilli. Mexicana you say… it was good! J had a steak burger with fries and avocado on the side. While J was watching the game I had a view of a rather tipsy couple having an altercation.

This was defintely a ‘try new places day’ courtesy of J. Our first stop was a coffee stop at Bean There and the look and feel are so inviting we going back there for sure. We also got the water from there and how aesthetic? I love these kinds of things that you just happen to find out about while you’re around because yes, you instantly get it. The space has a variety of shops and restaurants so that is also such a vibe. We stooped by and got some chocolate from Chocoloza and these Belgian treats are so special because J got me these on my birthday last year and they are still as good as I remember. For lunch, we went to Parktown and tried out a restaurant called La Boqueria and ah! I don’t have words but the food was AMAZING!!! These photos don’t do them any justice for how good they look and taste. So basically you order to share and that’s their philosophy. I don’t exactly remember the names of the meals we had but we tried cajun calamari, a lamb situation wrapped in a pastry-like and prawn tacos. I also tried a cocktail because why not and served with some champagne (so fancy) and so good. We later went to the cinema and watched Reminiscence which is a movie about a private investigator of the mind who navigates the darkly alluring world of the past by helping his clients access lost memories. His life is forever changed as he uncovers a violent conspiracy while trying to solve the mystery behind a missing client. Such a good film.

Monday was all about rest and taking it easy. I tried out a new clay mask and I also watched the Sex Life series on Netflix that I’ve been watching since there’s been so much hype around it.
And although it was about resting, I managed to get some work done. To check out more additional products I got [ Read Here: August Skin Freshness ].

See you on my next series. Take care.
